The process

How It Works

  1. Consultation

Tell us about the business you want to buy and the assets you own.

  2. Review the deal & your assets

We review the opportunity together and talk through which route may fit.

  3. Application & underwriting

You submit an application and supporting documents for underwriting review.

  4. Closing

If approved, the financing and the purchase come together at the closing table.

Financing Questions

Is this an SBA loan?

No. It is a direct loan program, not an SBA or other government-backed loan.

Can I use my property to fund a purchase?

Possibly. Through asset-backed lines of credit, offered in consultation with Hudson Nationwide Lending, you may be able to borrow against real estate or business equity you own. Any line of credit is subject to credit approval and a review of the collateral.

What do I need to apply?

Usually the following. Don't have it all yet? We'll tell you what your situation needs.

  • Tax returns and financial statements for the business you are buying
  • A personal financial statement
  • Details of any assets you may borrow against
  • The listing or letter of intent (LOI), if you have one
